RIP Ralph McQuarrie
Ralph McQuarrie, concept designer for the original Star Wars Trilogy has passed away today at his home at the age of 82.
Sad news. He shaped our childhood, that’s for certain.

His artwork has inspired so much of my life.

Burton RED x Star Wars Avid Grom R2-D2 Helmet - Getting kids to wear helmets is a tough challenge, but this winter the team at Burton have collaborated with Lucasfilms to make your job easier. What kid wouldn’t want the chance to be R2-D2 for a couple of hours while shredding on the slops?
Other than its R2-D2-like paint job, this ultra lightweight helmet features a spin fit system, warm removable ear-flaps, a customizable airflow venting system and a waterproof shield that eliminates the gap between goggle and helmet.
While considering how awesome this helmet is, be sure to check out the Burton x Star Wars Kids snowboard collection on Radcollector.com! Young riders rejoice!
